The Atmosphere School is a project aimed to innovate, not only in educational building parameters but also in educational methodology. This project aims to create, through the means of architecture, an atmosphere encouraging contemporary thinking and learning.

When looking at the exterior facades, the brise soleil is used to regulate the amount of insolation allowed into the environment, however, these vertical elements are also used to generate visual motion on the facade to the passerby.⁣

Upon entering the interior of the school, the user is welcomed into this inner hall/circulation, which could be described almost as monumental. The interior ramp used for vertical circulation is sculpted in to create an endless slab that flows to the next story in a subtle manner.

The need for open spaces to allow natural lighting and ventilation are essential for most types of building environments. This being more so in schools where kids can feel comfortable and safe throughout their school activities and ⁣recreation.

When designing the interior spaces of this school, a lot of factors come into play. Space sizes, materials, and colors were essential in promoting a productive learning experience. Using the right color pallet and spaces for interactive learning spaces, allows students to enjoy learning in a different type of atmosphere, outside of the conventional classroom.⁣
