Clip House
BRASILIA - BRAZIL
Aiming to break away from the conventional contemporary residential design, Clip House was designed with an open concept, aiming to integrate interior spaces with the exterior environments.
For that to be achieved, the residence was composed of two main axis, one being derived from the vertical structural wall and the other a horizontal element used for private environments.
The residence is composed of four main leisure spaces, such as the interior, inner garden gourmet area, and fire-pit. As an element that ties everything together, the pool wraps throughout the Clip House making all environments feel as one.
The interior of the house is organized as an open floor plan that is separated by furniture rather than partition walls, allowing for a more integrated experience. Parallel to it, the user has visual communication with the inner garden through curtain walls and an aquarium located in the main structural wall.
Across the pool area, the two main permanence spaces are the fire pit and the gourmet area located by the service sector. With the fire pit by the interior home theater, this space may be used to hold smaller gatherings or bigger events by integrating both spaces.
The layout of these spaces makes it possible to serve any number of different activities the owners may desire, by incorporating all or only a few.
